Mining

We have major civil works associated with mining such as tailings dams. Completed projects include the Antamina mine tailings dam Phase VI and VII (Peru), the Talabre tailings dam of Codelco (Chile) and the peralting and construction of walls of the tailings deposit of Minera Spence (Chile).

Completed water dams include the Chuspiri dam in the Las Bambas mining project (Peru), the Antamina mine polishing pond dam built-up (Peru), the Asana river diversion barrier in the Quellaveco mining project (Peru) and leaching pads: Pad la Quinua in the Yanacocha mine (Peru). OHLA also has extensive experience in earthworks such as those carried out at the Teniente mine (Chile).
