Excellence in the management of the Mexiquense Beltway

For the third consecutive year, the Mexiquense Beltway (Circuito Exterior Mexiquense (CEM)) has been rated first place based on conditions of the road and the quality of service, amongst the toll roads covered by the State Network of Operating Highways in the State of Mexico.

The System for Highways, Airports, Related and Auxiliary Services of the State of Mexico, a public body in charge of coordinating and supervising the toll road infrastructure in the State, has awarded CEM the top score (8.97) from amongst the 10 highways under supervision.

At present, OHL México holds a 75 % stake in Conmex, the concessionaire company of the Mexiquense Beltway, which is executing its integrated management under the highest quality standards.

The CEM, with a total investment under management of 1,394.1 million euros, reached an average traffic rate of 283,241 equivalent vehicles in 2014, representing a 4.1% increase over the previous year.
