Luis Amodio, OHLA’s chairman, joins the Board of Directors of the Consejo Empresarial Alianza por Iberoamérica (CEAPI), an organization that brings together 225 members from 19 countries representing the largest Ibero-American companies, with the aim of establishing links between the Ibero-American business network and strengthening dialogue with political and institutional leaders.

The appointment was announced this week at the annual meeting held by CEAPI in Madrid, where, in addition to the renewal of its Board, the organization presented its roadmap established for 2023 and the achievements of the past year. Among all of them, it is worth mentioning the adhesion of new representatives of the Latin American business world in the U.S., and the holding of 48 meetings in which 2,000 businessmen from 22 countries participated, which consolidates the organization’s position as a Think Tank for the analysis of the keys to success in Latin America at a social and business level.

CEAPI’s objective is to be the reference meeting point for major Ibero-American businessmen. Its main lines of work are business development, the social impact of companies and dialogue with governments to join forces.

Among the initiatives promoted by CEAPI in 2022, it is worth mentioning the IV Ibero-American Congress, which was attended by H.M. King Felipe VI and the President of the Government, Pedro Sanchez, and in which the President of OHLA made a speech focused on the importance of infrastructure as the foundation for establishing the well-being of citizens and boosting the growth and development of countries, and on the commitment to public-private partnerships in the infrastructure sector.
