OHL and the Minister of Development participate in the breakfast briefings organized by Aragonex

On the 8th of April, the latest edition of the Business Environment Breakfasts was held; a monthly briefing organized by the Aragón Exterior Association (Aragonex), which on this occasion was sponsored by OHL and was attended by the Minister of Development, Ana Pastor, who gave a speech. The event was attended by important figures in the infrastructure sector, including Rafael Catalá, Secretary of State of Infrastructures, Transport and Housing; Pablo Cavero, Minister of Transport and Infrastructures of the Community of Madrid; Julio Gómez-Pomar, President of Renfe and Gonzalo Ferre Moltó, President of Adif.

In her initial statement, the Minister of Development stressed “her commitment to the efficient, effective and responsible management of her department, which does not put future generations at jeopardy, and which makes the most of the available resources”. Additionally, Ana Pastor referred to the measures adopted in AENA and in the rail services and the activities being carried out by the Ministry of Development in Aragón.

In turn, the President of the OHL Group, Juan-Miguel Villar Mir, presented the closing address. In his speech, he referred to the adverse economic situation our country is experiencing and he highlighted the Ministry of Development’s work to address the current situation.

Juan-Miguel Villar Mir wanted to highlight the importance of technological advances, which are vital for economic development, and he indicated that “Spain’s increasing competitiveness in recent years is due, among other things, to the quality of its transport infrastructures”.
