OHL keeps its High CDP ranking

In recognition of its outstanding commitment to a low-carbon economy, the OHL Group has received a score of High in the most recent Iberia 125 report for 2013 published by CDP, an independent organization that runs the world’s largest database of corporate information on climate change. OHL is third among companies listed on the IBEX 35 and in Spanish construction sector, with the best score according to the Iberia 125 Climate Change Report, backed by 722 global financial institutions representing the management of assets worth 87 billion dollars. This report was drawn up by the non-profit organization Ecodes on the basis of the assessment made by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) on a total of 85 Spanish and 40 Portuguese companies.

This ranking joins the results obtained in Carbon Performance, which has remained at level B, reflecting yet not limited to the Group’s priority in the fight against climate change through a strategy included in the Group’s 2011-2015 Environment and Energy Master Plan.

Encompassed within the OHL Group Corporate Social Responsibility Master Plan, the 2011-2015 Environment and Energy Master Plan envisions a strategy focused on ensuring the fulfillment of commitments to environmental sustainability. Additionally, the fight against climate change is one of the primary areas of involvement in the Group’s environmental policy, to which all divisions adhere.
