OHL returns to the selective Eco10 Stoxx index

December 11, 2014

OHL returns to the selective Eco10 stock index, which the provider of global Stoxx indexes calculates and the El Economista newspaper publishes. The Eco10 Stoxx is prepared on the basis of the recommendations of the 53 investment firms that participate in the elEconomista consensus portfolio, which has wagered on OHL as a good investment opportunity for the coming months.

OHL belonged to the Eco10 between March 2010 and March 2014 and now returns with a 4.34 % weighting in the elEconomista consensus portfolio, the highest weight of the two securities joining the index in its last revision in 2014. This percentage places OHL as the fourth highest weighted security in the portfolio, in which Telefónica, Repsol and IAG hold the top positions.

As many as 11 investment firms have added OHL to their portfolios. Capital at Works and CMC Markets, with 25 %, are those giving the highest weighting to OHL. Together with these, the following firms have wagered on OHL, with a weight of 20 %: UBS (the elEconomista consensus firm whose portfolio ranks third in returns in the last four quarters), Abaco Capital, Atl Capital, BPI, Capitalia Familiar, Getino Finanzas EAFI, Popular Banca Privada and Serfiex.

The revision of the Eco10 has signified the addition of OHL and Sacyr, replacing  Gamesa and Grifols. Telefónica, chosen by 15 firms, Repsol, IAG, Arcelor Mittal, Mapfre, BBVA, Técnicas Reunidas and Amadeus are the other eight securities completing this selective index, which has obtained a 48 % revaluation since its creation in June 2006, in contrast to the stagnation of the Ibex during the same period.
