Pioneer initiative in Europe and promoted by the Adecco Foundation

OHLA, among the drivers of #CEOPorLaDiversidad and the promotion of equality and diversity

February 20, 2023

#CEOPorLaDiversidad, an alliance promoted by the Adecco Foundation and of which OHLA is a member through its CEO, José Antonio Fernández Gallar, held its annual meeting in Madrid on February 20. The event served to address the talent of the Gen Z or Centennial generation, and its emergence in the labor market in a context of great uncertainty.

OHLA is currently part of the 81-member companies of this alliance and has been a founding member since its origins in 2019. The mission of this initiative is to unite companies operating in Spain around a common and innovative vision of diversity, equity and inclusion (De&I), urging them to promote strategies that contribute to business excellence, inclusion, sustainability and competitiveness.

OHLA, a committed company

OHLA promotes initiatives that ensure the promotion of diversity and equality within its own regulatory and action framework. The company ensures that the selection processes comply with the principle of equal treatment and opportunities based on objective criteria, without direct or indirect discrimination. It also aims to guarantee the co-responsible exercise of work-life balance rights and improve legal measures to facilitate the reconciliation of personal, family and work life for employees of the Group’s companies.

Another of the company’s priority lines of action is its commitment to the integration of socially vulnerable groups – people with different abilities, victims of gender violence or people at risk or in a situation of social exclusion.
