Terceros carriles y BUS-VAO en la autopista V-21, Valencia.
OHLA ha finalizado las obras de la autovía V-21, en el tramo Carraixet-Valencia, con la construcción de nuevos terceros carriles y un carril Bus-VAO, el primero en la red de carreteras de la Comunidad Valenciana. El proyecto, adjudicado por el Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbana, ha consistido en la ejecución de 6,1 km de Bus-VAO, 5 km de terceros carriles y un carril bici de 700 metros de longitud, entre otras actuaciones.
La infraestructura supone un impulso a la movilidad sostenible a través de la mejora la capacidad de una de las principales arterias que da acceso a Valencia, facilitando la entrada y salida por el norte de la ciudad y la distribución del tráfico con la autovía V-23, la autopista AP-7 y la autovía A-23.
Por su parte, el nuevo carril BUS-VAO potenciará el uso compartido y sostenible del vehículo privado y permitirá que los autobuses circulen más rápido y con mayor regularidad, lo que atraerá a más pasajeros e impactará de manera positiva en el medioambiente, la seguridad vial y la calidad de vida de los habitantes de Valencia.
El proyecto también contempla la ejecución de una pasarela peatonal para canalizar el tráfico ciclo-peatonal entre Alboraya y Port Saplaya, mejorando la permeabilidad transversal de la infraestructura y dando conexión al anillo ciclista que está desarrollando la Generalitat Valenciana.
