OHL obtains the top score for the third year in a row in CDP Climate Change 2017

The OHL Group has obtained the top “A” score with leadership level in CDP Climate Change 2017 and therefore, renews its presence on the Climate A List, a list made up of only 9% of the top-scoring companies in the world. Likewise, the company has been placed on the Water A List for the first time, which includes the leading companies in the management of water resources. With this result, OHL has positioned itself as a reference in recognition of its commitment to a low carbon economy.
OHL has been reporting voluntarily and publicly to CDP since 2009, which has placed it in an outstanding position in the ranking of participants. The Group participates in the Climate and Water programs, which assess disclosure, awareness, management and leadership in climate change and management of the water footprint, respectively, on a scale moving from F up to A. Moreover, the OHL Group has also participated in the CDP Supply Chain program since 2011 and the CDP Forest program (concerned with deforestation) since 2015, in which it also maintains a leadership position.
CDP is a non-profit organization that has become an international benchmark, with the signature of 827 investors representing 100 billion dollars in assets. It provides the largest corporate environmental information base in the world in terms of climate change and the protection of natural resources. CDP acknowledges with the leadership level, those companies that have demonstrated a profound knowledge of the risks and opportunities associated with climate change, as well as the definition and application of strategies for their management.
