OHL sponsors the King of Spain International Journalism Awards

For the second consecutive year, OHL has sponsored the King of Spain International Journalism Awards which, presided by the King and Queen of Spain, Juan Carlos and Sofía, were held in Casa de América.
The King of Spain International Journalism Awards are held each year by Agencia Efe and the State Secretariat for International Cooperation, through the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AECID). In its XXIX edition, in which approximately 180 works have participated, the prizes were awarded to journalists of Mexico, Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina and Ecuador.
The rewarded works include a cutting article written as a thriller, a journalistic article destroying the myths surrounding the discovery of the New World, a series of powerful photographs, a report on the drug-trafficking business, or a series of historic computer graphics.
Other personalities joined their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain on the presidential table: the vice-president of the Government, Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría, Juan-Miguel Villar Mir, José Antonio Vera, chairman of EFE, Miguel Giménez de Córdoba, chairman of Tragsa, Enrique V. Iglesias, general secretary for Latin America, and Jesús Gracia, Secretary of State for International Cooperation.
Moreover, the OHL Group has participated in other acts such as the VII Meeting of the Infrastructures Sector, the main event in Spain’s construction sector and the ABC-Deloitte Forum, which counted on the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, José Manuel García-Margallo.
