July 15, 2013
On July 8, the Port Authority of Valparaíso (EPV) and the concession company Terminal Cerros de Valparaíso (TCVAL), a subsidiary of OHL Concessions, signed the concession contract for the construction and subsequent operation of the new Terminal 2 at the Port of Valparaíso.
TCVAL will build and operate Terminal 2, contributing value, solvency and competitiveness to the Port of Valparaíso as one of the main ports in South America. With an expected investment of €270 million, the project will double the current capacity of the port and will meet the country’s maritime traffic needs for the next 15 years.
