Ingesan, the facilities management subsidiary of the OHL Group specializing in cleaning, technical maintenance and healthcare, has joined the Network of Companies for a Society Free from Gender-Based Violence through a collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality with a view to helping raise awareness on gender-based violence and helping victims enter the workforce.

By taking these steps, Ingesan reaffirms the Group’s commitment with the community as laid out in the Social Action Plan for Spain, which includes the Employment Plan for Persons at Risk of Social Exclusion and the disabled. Additionally, Ingesan works closely with foundations such as FundaciĆ³n Integra and FundaciĆ³n Adecco. This OHL Group subsidiary has made over 80 contracts among persons in these groups throughout 2013.

The initiative currently has 56 employees enrolled and is articulated around a series of principles that, among other goals, contemplate actions seeking to promote equality between men and women, respect for fundamental rights, the right to create a society free from gender-based violence and full employment opportunities for women who have been victims of this social blight.
