OHL invests close to two million euros in social projects

OHL has invested close to two million euros in social projects during 2017 which has resulted in the promotion of over 130 initiatives. In total, this has benefited nearly 700 organizations and over 21,000 persons in countries such as Peru, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, USA, Czech Republic or Spain.
These actions, which have the objective of favoring the economic and social progress of the communities where the company operates, are carried out in collaboration with national and international organizations such as Galher A.C. or Casa de la Amistad para Niños con Cáncer, in México, or Florida International University and Miller School of Medicine of the University of Miami, in the USA.
Also noteworthy are the projects undertaken by OHL corporate volunteers with the objective of favoring the social and labor integration of vulnerable groups. In this area, campaigns such as the Escuela de Fortalecimiento, the Corporate Volunteer Day for Equal Opportunities or the Masterchef cooking workshops have been held.
OHL Group employees support the labor integration of persons with disabilities through corporate volunteer days.
