OHL renews the Calculation seal, awarded by the Ministry for Ecological Transition

OHL has seen its commitment to the fight against climate change recognized, with the renewal of its registration in the Carbon Footprint, Offset and Carbon Dioxide Absorption Projects Registry, promoted by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and materialized in the achievement, for the third consecutive year of the Calculation seal. This certification endorses the calculation of carbon dioxide emissions that OHL carries out in the framework of its activity.

In addition to its adherence to this Registry and its commitment to calculate the carbon footprint in accordance with a methodology and principles established by the Ministry for Ecological Transition, OHL maintains collaborations and alliances with other entities that are experts in the field of climate change and carbon footprint. Specifically, it is one of the Spanish companies adhered to the Spanish Companies Manifesto for the opportunities of the Energy Transition and the fight against Climate Change, coordinated by the Spanish Group for Green Growth (GECV).

OHL also participates as a leading member in Forética’s Cluster on Climate Change, a benchmark business platform in Spain on climate change; and in CDP Climate Change 2018 it has obtained an A- rating, which distinguishes its continued commitment to a low-carbon economy and values the voluntary report it makes while showing its knowledge of critical environmental risks and opportunities, as well as the definition and application of strategies for its management.
