Novaire, a subsidiary of the OHL Group specializing in the provision of health care services for the elderly with differing degrees of dependency, has been included in EUROPE’S 500 ranking as one of the 150 European companies with the greatest business growth in the last three years, as well as for its contribution to the creation of employment.
This recognition has been granted by the Spanish business school IESE and by EUROPE’S 500, a non-profit association whose purpose is to encourage, promote and certify the entrepreneurship and growth of companies in Europe. The reward granting ceremony, which was held on March 21 in Brussels, was sponsored by the European Parliament and carried out within the framework of a conference attended by, among others, Klaus Regling, head of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM); Pankaj Ghemawat, professor of the IESE and José María Figueres Olsen, former President of Costa Rica and former executive director of the World Economic Forum.
In preparing the ranking, the jury, comprised of commissioners of the European Parliament and representatives of the member States, who participate in policy-making at European level, has based the same on the criteria that evaluate employment growth, financial stability, corporate engagement and the independence involved in decision-making. This year, Novaire, along with 20 other Spanish companies, has been included in this prestigious list and it may be pointed out that, all together, more than 13,000 jobs were generated between 2010 and 2012, which supposes an average growth of more than 20% in their workforce over the last year.
Novaire, in business now for nine years, is responsible for the design, construction, equipping and management of 11 centers distributed throughout the main urban areas of the Valencian Community. Likewise, in the year 2011, it obtained the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certificate in all its centers, which recognizes the good management and the quality of a comprehensive management model based on the personalized service and care provided for the elderly.
