OHL, present at the 40th Anniversary of ICEX Internationalization Scholarships
July 29, 2015
OHL, through the Studies and Planning Direction, was present at the ceremony of the 40th Anniversary of Internationalization Scholarships launched by the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX, by its Spanish Acronym). The act was ended by H.R.H. King Felipe VI and was attended by José Manuel Soria, Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism, and by Jaime García-Legaz, State Secretary for Trade, amongst other personalities.
The ICEX program, which began in 1975 and has benefited more than 5,000 young candidates, intends to provide human capital to Spanish companies undergoing an internationalization process. OHL has been collaborating with this initiative since 2008 and, as a result, recent graduates are able to complete their training with work experience in a Spanish company with international activity.
OHL considers that people are the engine of its growth and development. OHL’s commitment to human capital has been gathered in its 2015-2020 Strategic Plan, “reinforcing the Group’s commitment to people, along with R&D&I and Corporate Social Responsibility”. As part of this commitment with people, OHL is actively launching programs to locate and manage talent, with mobility plans and international development.
