Asociación de Concesionarios de Obras de Infraestructura Pública A.G. (COPSA) awards a prize for the best Corporate Responsibility Plan to the “Escuela Chile” Project

On 27 November the II National Concessions Conference was held by COPSA, the sector association that gathers all of Chile’s concessionaire companies.

The event convened leading public and private authorities in the sector, to discuss issues in the country’s agenda related to infrastructures.

During this conference, COPSA delivered a recognition to the best effort made by its associates in innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility, through an external jury consisting of urban developers and social responsibility experts.

In this context, the prize for the best Corporate Responsibility Plan went to the “Escuela Chile” Project, for its contribution to the country and the huge impact the Plan has had on its many beneficiaries (over 155,000 persons amongst students, teachers, parents and tutors).

The main object of the plan is to encourage citizen education in road matters, by including values that promote mutual respect and personal safety, as a step further than mere awareness of traffic rules and signs.
