OHL México and Conmex bring a civil claim for loss of reputation against Infraiber
September 24, 2015
OHL México (OHLMEX) and its subsidiary, Concesionaria Mexiquense (Conmex), have filed a civil claim in Mexico for loss of reputation before the Civil Courts in Mexico City, against Tecnología Aplicada Infraiber (Infraiber) and others.
The claim was granted leave to proceed yesterday, according to OHL México, which announced a significant event to the Mexican Stock Exchange.
OHL México and Conmex have filed a claim against the unprecedented campaign to harm the company’s prestige and rating, deployed over more than two years against it by Infraiber, with the aim of seriously harming its reputation.
OHLMEX and Conmex will promptly supervise the claim filed and have reiterated that they will use all legal resources within their reach to uphold their rights, in order to avoid further damage both to themselves and to their shareholders.
This is the second court action filed by OHL México and Conmex against Infraiber following the criminal complaint filed last 10 September before the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) in Mexico, for the distribution of flyers, communications and illegal and manipulated recordings, in an attempt to extort the company, causing damage to its shareholder value.
