The Board of Directors Approves the OHL Group Code of Ethics
May 11, 2010
The OHL Board of Directors has approved the Group’s Code of Ethics that substitutes the OHL Code of Conduct for Executive Personnel and now makes up part of the regulations that guide the Group’s corporate governance.
The code is a clear declaration of the values, principles and norms of conduct for OHL that guide the behaviour of all of the Group’s people as they carry out their professional functions. Its aim is to guarantee the social commitment to integrity and transparency in the communities they work in.
Along with the collective application of the Group’s corporate culture among employees, it also aims to share its values and commitments with their other stakeholders.
With this new code, a new confidential communication channel has also been established to continue encouraging the involvement of all groups with interest in the Group’s activities. Following and monitoring the channel will be the OHL Board’s Auditing and Compliance Committee, chaired by director Juan Mato Rodriguez.
