OHL signs with the Hinduja indian group an agreement to jointly develop infrastructure projects

OHL has signed with Hinduja, a multinational Indian group, a preliminary agreement to jointly develop infrastructure projects in India and in other geographical areas of interest to both groups. The agreement was signed today in Mumbai by Juan-Miguel Villar Mir, chairman of the OHL Group, and Ashok Hinduja, chairman of the Hinduja Group in India.
The signature took place during the official visit of H.M. the King Juan Carlos to India, in which the chairman of the OHL Group is involved as part of Spain’s business delegation.
During the signature, Juan-Miguel Villar Mir reiterated that internationalization is one of the key components of OHL’s business strategy. In this regard, he manifested his trust in “the future success for both groups of the partnership we are now undertaking”, and highlighted that “this is a great opportunity for OHL to extend its activity to a geographical area where we are beginning to operate”.
In turn, Ashok P. Hinduja manifested that “this joint venture is part of Hinduja Group’s strategy to participate in the development of infrastructures in India, an activity that is now open to the private sector through public-private partnerships”.
