OHLA recognises the work of its most innovative teams in 2024 with the Technology Innovation Awards

OHLA, a global infrastructure company, has organized a new edition of its Technological Innovation Awards, a distinction that rewards the creativity and talent of its employees in all its areas and geographies. In this edition, the winners were teams from OHLA USA, Construction Spain and Services-Ingesan, whose innovative solutions have had an outstanding positive impact on the company’s operational and economic efficiency. 

The first prize was awarded to the automation of internal processes with Artificial Intelligence developed by Srivatsan Raghavan, Pasquale Cioce, Saj Samuel and Jameson Funsch, from the OHLA USA team. This innovation has reduced risks in the field of insurance management and generated a significant economic impact. Furthermore, it can be implemented in other geographical areas of the group.

The second prize recognised a set of innovations developed by the Sinova tunnel construction team in Spain. These solutions stand out for their creativity in solving, with ingenious methods, technical challenges such as the injection of the back of the segments and the cleaning of the tunnel. 

Jesús Andrés Castellot and Jesús Jiménez Rodríguez, together with Nuria Fuentes, Miguel Barcelona and David del Río, who presented them with the award.

The third prize was awarded to the ‘LumenIA’ project, led by Jesús Andrés Castellot and Jesús Jiménez Rodríguez, from the Energy Efficiency team at Servicios-Ingesan. This solution makes it possible to digitise and automatically validate energy services invoices, optimising internal processes, reducing the workload of engineers and generating a significant economic impact on the management of energy services. 

With these awards, OHLA reinforces its commitment to technological innovation as a transformation and growth driver, promoting sustainable and efficient solutions in its projects worldwide.
