The Board of Directors of OHLA has approved the appointment of Mr. Vicente Rodero Rodero as a new independent director, following a proposal by the Appointments and Remuneration Committee (ARC). His appointment strengthens the company’s commitment to best practices in corporate governance, bringing a strategic perspective and extensive international financial experience.

Rodero has had a long-standing career at the BBVA Group, where he held several top executive positions for over three decades. Among other roles, he served as General Manager of Retail Banking in Spain, Vice Chairman and General Manager of BBVA Mexico, and was the head of the group’s global banking business, operating in 15 countries. He was also a member of BBVA’s Executive Committee from 2005 to 2016.

He currently serves as a board member of BBVA Mexico and acts as an advisor to various companies. His profile combines international leadership, strategic management, and in-depth knowledge of the financial system, which will bring significant added value to this new stage at OHLA.
