AENOR awards the Certificate of Management of Criminal Compliance UNE 19601 to OHL

April 23, 2021

The certifying company AENOR has awarded OHL the UNE 19601 certificate, a standard that guarantees that the company has a model in line with the requirements of the Spanish Criminal Code and international standards in terms of compliance, which contributes to generating an organizational culture sensitive to the prevention of crimes.

This certification endorses OHL’s commitment to maintaining and continuously improving its management system in the area of criminal compliance with the aim of preventing the commission of crimes within the company itself and reducing the criminal risk of legal non-compliance through the promotion of an ethical and compliance culture.

UNE-ISO 37001

AENOR also awarded OHL the certificate based on the UNE-ISO 37001 standard last October, endorsing its Anti-Bribery Management System and accrediting that the company has implemented the best internationally-contrasted practices to combat the commission of crimes in its organization.

Receiving certification based on the UNE-ISO 37001 standard means complying with the applicable anti-corruption laws and regulations, as well as following the recommendations of international bodies such as the OECD, the United Nations, and the recommendations for good corporate governance published by the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), the supervisory body for securities markets in Spain.
