Amozoc–Perote Toll Road receives authorization to extend the concession term and gradually increase toll rates

OHL México announced to the Mexican Stock Exchange, as well as all the interested groups in the company’s good performance, that its subsidiary Grupo Autopistas Nacionales, S.A. (Gana) received duly signed, the Second Amendment to its Concession Title which was awarded by Mexico’s Federal government on November 24, 2003.
The Ministry of Communication and Transports recognizes certain additional investments made and thereby rebalances the Concession Title by extending the contractual term and gradually increasing the toll rates for the following six years.
Gana is in charge of the contract to build, operate, exploit, conserve and maintain the federal jurisdiction highway known as Amozoc‐Perote Toll Road. The infrastructure, with 123 km of trunk road, is part of the Altiplano Road Corridor and incorporates into its layout 104.9 km of highway between Amozoc, Puebla, Perote, and Veracruz, and 17.6 km Perote Bypass pertaining to the Acatzingo‐Zacatepec‐Perote‐Jalapa federal highway.
