ELSAN team with the Care for Others award

The long professional trajectory that links Elsan with BP has resulted in the completion of several projects focused on renovations, new construction, and maintenance, as well as various recognitions for the excellence of the work carried out by OHLA’s subsidiary for the oil company. The latest of these is the Care for Others award, recently instituted, which highlights Elsan’s excellence in responding to the needs and priorities of the client, always within a framework of action guided by quality and safety.

With this award, BP recognizes the human team of Elsan, composed of various profiles and competencies ranging from those working on-site to office personnel. The award ceremony took place during BP’s annual Contractors Day and coincided with the renewal of the contract signed between Elsan and the oil company for the next 2 years. Elsan began its collaboration with BP in 2012, becoming since then one of the main civil works contractors for the company at a national level. From this client, OHLA’s subsidiary has received several recognitions, such as the First HSSE Award (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) in 2017 and 2022, for its commitment to health, safety, protection, and the environment, while in 2021, BP internally recognized the work carried out in the reform project of the Mechanical Installation at the BP Pozuelo gas station.

Elsan has accumulated over 30 years of experience working with various oil companies in the field of construction and maintenance of their facilities throughout the national territory. For them, it has developed projects for the renovation of old facilities, conversion according to new quality and safety standards within their service stations, new installations in washing and restoration areas within the service station itself, as well as the current implementation of new electric charging points.
