Florida International University creates the OHL Construction School

The OHL Group has become an associate of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Studies of Florida International University (FIU) in order to create the OHL School of Construction, the first in the history of the university with a company name.
The School was inaugurated last 20 March at the Engineering Center, West Miami-Dade, where Juan-Miguel Villar Mir, chairman of the OHL Group, gave a talk entitled OHL Group: An example of business success. Along with the chairman of the OHL Group, the event convened the president of Florida International University, Mark B. Rosenberg, and Irtishad Ahmad, manager of the OHL School of Construction, amongst others.
Prize awarded to an educational program of reference The OHL School of Construction has embarked on its project by already collecting relevant awards. The Florida International University team, consisting of School alumni, was awarded one of the most prestigious teaching prizes in the U.S., further to a competition arranged by ABC, the national construction company association.
This national competition is very important and the fact we have become the winners reflects the quality education offered by OHL School of Construction.
