For the second consecutive year, OHL is still part of the Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index

In 2012 and for the second consecutive year, OHL is still part of the Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index, reflecting the Group’s commitment to information campaigns launched to fight climatic change.
OHL is the second company in the Spanish construction sector to be included in this indicator- consisting of twelve companies- according to the Iberia 125 Climate Change Report 2012; this report was backed up by 655 financial entities worldwide with investment capacity of 78 Trillion USD, and was drawn up by the NGO Ecodes based on PwC’s assessment of a total of 85 Spanish and 40 Portuguese companies.
In general terms, and according to the classification provided by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), an independent organization that holds the largest database in the world on corporate data related to climatic change, OHL has obtained a “High” score, ten points more than its previous score, and still falls within the Level B Carbon Performance range. Amongst other issues, this indicates that the company acknowledges internal integration of climatic change as a priority strategy.
OHL has articulated its fight against climatic change through its Guiding Environmental and Energy Plan, whose strategic line focuses on ensuring compliance with sustainability commitments in environmental matters. As regards the fight against climatic change, it is a basic principle for action in the Group’s environmental policy.
