Ingesan awarded lot 2 of the cleaning service of municipal buildings in Valencia for an amount close to €6 million

Ingesan, the main subsidiary of OHLA’s Services division, has been awarded the cleaning service for municipal buildings of the Valencia City Council for an amount close to €6 million and a duration of three years, extendable to two more.
Specifically, it will manage Lot 2 of the contract, corresponding to the southern area of the city, where buildings such as the Valencia City Hall, the Central Market, the Fallas Museum, the Central Fire Station and the Local Police Headquarters are located.
To carry out the contracted activities, Ingesan will use all-electric vehicles for the distribution of consumables and materials, as well as for the transportation of machinery and operators. In addition, it will prioritize the use of eco-labeled products and recycled materials, as well as other equipment that reduces environmental impact.
More than 15 years focused on the building cleaning business
Ingesan has been developing its cleaning activity for more than 15 years with more than 10,000 professionals in Spain, Chile and Mexico, through important contracts for Metro de Barcelona, the University Hospital of Burgos, the University of Malaga or the Ministries of Health, Defense and Justice, among others. In the Valencian Community it is active in Benidorm, San Vicente del Raspeig, Picassent, Bétera, Vila Real and Oropesa, among other municipalities; and provides cleaning services in seven hospitals and 250 health centers in towns such as Valencia, Castellón, Alcoy and Alzira, and at Alicante Airport.
