Ingesan, recognized by the Integra Foundation for its commitment to socially vulnerable groups

Ingesan, the main subsidiary of the OHLA Services division, has been recognized, once again, by the Integra Foundation, in the Commitment Awards that, this year, have distinguished the work of Carlos de Hoyos, head of Human Resources for the Delegation Ingesan Center, with the award of an honorable mention. This award is extended to the entire team for its work of integration, through employment, of people with disabilities or in situations of social exclusion.

As part of the awards ceremony, Carlos highlighted the involvement and dedication of all the people who participate in the company’s selection and hiring processes, and pointed out the daily management and coordination that Ingesan maintains with the Integra Foundation and that facilitates the integration of socially vulnerable people.

OHLA, with its Services subsidiary, Ingesan, has maintained a collaboration agreement with the Integra Foundation since 2002, supporting various initiatives promoted by the entity for the labor insertion of people with disabilities or at risk of exclusion. The main beneficiary groups are victims of gender violence, people with disabilities, women victims of prostitution, ex-prisoners, victims of narcotic substances, people over 45 and 60 years of age and people of the gypsy ethnic group, among others. This commitment has been recognized by the Foundation with different awards over the years, among which the Socially Committed Company award stands out, awarded in 2021.

Promotion of direct employment as the main axis of Ingesan

With more than 900 hires, over two decades, of vulnerable people and at risk of social exclusion, job placement is one of Ingesan’s priority lines of action, which is represented in the implementation of various awareness-raising actions. volunteering and promoting direct employment. This is possible thanks to the collaboration with various entities, including the Red Cross, Adecco Foundation, Integra Foundation, Randstad Foundation and Down Madrid.
