Juan-Miguel Villar Mir, 2013 Tiepolo Award

OHL chairman Juan-Miguel Villar Mir and Pietro Salini, chief executive officer of the Italian group Salini Impregilo, have been chosen to receive the 2013 Tiepolo Award by the Madrid Chamber of Commerce together with the Spanish Chapter of the Italian Chamber of Commerce. The award ceremony will be held at the Italian Embassy in Madrid before the end of the year.

The selection panel, comprising journalists from the leading Spanish press organizations and Italian correspondents based in Spain, has sought to recognize the trajectory and perseverance of both companies within a construction industry that has been riddled by the current economic crisis. On the merits of their efforts, both companies have proven to be pathfinders to achievement in the face of diversity and success that decisively contributed to the respective images of Spain and Italy.
