Juan-Miguel Villar Mir participates in the act of recognition of the business support the Olympic and Paralympic Bid of Madrid 2020

Juan-Miguel Villar Mir participated in the act recognizing the support of the business community for the Olympic and Paralympic Bid Madrid 2020 which took place at the Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid. The event was attended by Ana Botella, the mayor of Madrid, Miguel Cardenal, Secretary of State for Sport, and Alejandro Blanco, president of Madrid 2020, together with important personalities of the Spanish business sector.
The OHL Group Chairman, speaking on behalf of companies and institutions supporting the Candidacy Madrid 2020, highlighted the commitment and effort shared by all present to ensure that Madrid becomes be the city chosen to host the Olympic and Paralympic Summer Games to be held in 2020.
Juan-Miguel Villar Mir noted that Madrid 2020 is a goal of each and every citizen of Spain. “We all contribute to building a viable, responsible project that generates new opportunities and will promote economic activity and project the best image of Spain across the world, thereby attracting new investments.”
In their respective speeches, the mayor of Madrid, Secretary of State for Sport and President of Madrid 2020 highlighted the importance of the continued support of the business sector in the face of this important event.
