OHL adheres to the “International Day of the Elimination of Violence against Women”
November 25, 2018
OHL joins the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, on November 25th, with the dissemination of several awareness campaigns promoted by the United Nations, the Spanish Ministry of Health, Social Affairs and Equality (MHSAE) and the Integra Foundation, with which OHL plans to make its commitment to the fight against sexist violence a reality.
Specifically, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations, OHL has echoed the initiative “Orange the world: #HearMeToo”, a framework in which testimonies of women and men who fight for a more egalitarian world are released.
Similarly, since 2013, the company has adhered to the initiative of the MHSAE, which under the slogan “There is a way out of gender violence”, aims to achieve a society free of violence against women.
Adherence to these campaigns is in addition to the commitment acquired with other social entities such as Fundación Integra, the Spanish Red Cross and the Adecco Foundation, as well as with the Spanish Public Employment Service. In collaboration with them, OHL, through its subsidiary OHL Servicios-Ingesan, has carried out nearly 200 contracts for female victims of gender violence since 2013.
