OHL Barcelona Volunteers arranges the first charitable cooking workshop

For the first time and along with the Adecco Foundation, OHL Barcelona Volunteers has arranged a cooking workshop called Masterchef solidario addressed to disabled beneficiaries of various programs launched by the Cassià Just Foundation. The initiative was held last 19 July in the Prat de Llobregat agricultural park.

Twenty young disabled persons were able to enjoy a culinary day with a charitable spirit, used to promote the training and employability of the handicapped, encouraging the necessary skills and competences to improve their personal independence. The event ended with a tasting of the dishes prepared by the participants.

For ten years now, the OHL Group has been collaborating with the Cassià Just Foundation, whose professional mental health, social action and education members strive to generate social awareness of the difficulties encountered by persons with varying capacities when  applying for a job in order to be fully integrated into society.
