OHL Charitable Paddle Tournament to fight children’s cancer

OHL Volunteers, and its Barcelona group in particular, has arranged a new edition of the OHL Charitable Paddle Tournament which, every year, backs up various social entities and charitable causes. The sports event, held this year in favor of the Association of Relatives and Friends of Oncological Children in Catalonia (known by its Spanish acronym, AFANOC), was located in the Vall d’Hebron Catalonian Tennis Federation, and has been used to gather funds, all of which were asigned to the La Casa de los Xuklis project. This initiative, managed by AFANOC, provides accommodation and free psychosocial support to the relatives of children cancer patients during the length of their treatment.

More than a hundred participants, amongst OHL Group employees, relatives and friends, have taken part in the tournament which, in addition to the competition, has included games, raffles and gifts. The funds gathered have been given to the La Casa de los Xuklis project, in order to support continuity of a center near the Vall d’Hebron Maternity and Children’s Hospital, where medical assistance is received.
