OHL collaborates with the Down Syndrome Foundation of Madrid to raise funds for its new facilities

OHL co-sponsored the Rolando Villazón benefit concert held at the National Auditorium of Music on 17 January. The event, organized by Fundación Síndrome de Down de Madrid (FSDM) and with HM Queen Sofia acting as Honorary President, aimed to raise funds for Centro 3 Olivos, a facility for people afflicted with Down Syndrome operated by FSDM in Madrid.
The facility is a newly built center for adults with intellectual disabilities that provides comprehensive care that responds to the needs of this collective as may arise in different areas of their lives (physical and psychological, occupational, leisure, etc.) at different times in their life cycles (youth, maturity, old age). The center includes several types of care: day care center, residential center, occupational center and complementary activities.
The concert was attended by the FSDM President, Mary Baron, the Regional Minister of Social Affairs of the Autonomous Community of Madrid, Salvador Victoria, coach Vicente del Bosque and leading celebrities and senior executives of the companies that collaborate with the FSDM. On behalf of the OHL Group, which has actively collaborated with the FSDM since 2005, the concert was attended, among others, by Corporate CEO Luis Garcia-Linares and members of the OHL volunteers.
