OHL, included in the Nazca website, Sponsored by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change

The OHL Group’s committed fight against climatic change has been rewarded with its inclusion in the Non-State Actor Zone for Climate Action (Nazca) Internet portal, an initiative sponsored by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Its on-line operation coincided, last 21 May, with the start of the Business & Climate Summit Paris, a forum that has gathered in the French capital carious European leaders in order to discuss the strategies and solutions available for a low-carbon economy.
The Nazca portal gathers actions to fight against climatic change, undertaken by companies, regions, cities and investors, selected according to the rating granted by CDP, amongst others, an international non-profit organization with the largest global data system used to measure, disclose and manage the environmental impact and strategies of companies and other bodies. OHL has been included in the CDP Report since 2009.
The OHL Group has gathered nearly ten years of commitment to a low-carbon economy. The effort made in this field has been rewarded with a CDP score of 99 A- (over 100 A) and its inclusion in the Climate Disclosure Leadership Index. This rating evidences its performance and transparency when communicating all practices started up to fight against climatic change. OHL has also improved the score of its emissions activity, from Best Practices level B, in 2013, to A-, in 2014.
The Group is articulating its performance in sustainability and progress towards a low-carbon economy through it 2011-2015 Guiding Environment and Energy Plan, which includes projects to fight against climatic change. Of interest is the fact that the 2015 Emissions Reduction Plan is targeted at globally reducing emissions of greenhouse gas (GHG) by 5 % with respect to 2010.
