February 3, 2015
In a Relevant Event issued by the BMV on 30 January, the new composition of this selective index was announced, consisting of 34 of the 70 issuers included in the Price and Listing Index (IPC) of the Mexican Stock Exchange, its leading benchmark.
The group includes outstanding companies in terms of commitment to a business model that strives to create value over time and is governed by the highest standards in environmental management, social responsibility and corporate governance (ESG).
OHL México’s performance was compared with the results obtained from an analysis of public information issued by 3,500 international companies, including the materials and construction sector, both in Mexico and worldwide. As a condition to join this selective group, the average rate resulting from this appraisal had to be achieved.
Starting on 3 February and for a one-year term, until 29 January 2016, OHL México will belong to this benchmark, which is governed by the criteria established by global mutual funds, based on liquidity and operability models set by the BMV: reported float greater than 30% and/or floated capitalization value greater than 10 thousand million pesos.
At present, 44% of OHL México is in the hands of Mexican and international investors and OHL Concesiones holds a controlling 56% stake.
