October 23, 2017
The OHL Group CEO, Tomás García Madrid, inaugurated the Lidera Development Program, organized by the company in conjunction with the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa (IESE) business school. The formal commencement of the program took place on October 23rd in the Juan-Miguel Villar Mir Meeting Room at the IESE in Madrid.
This initiative, set in the framework of the Strategic Plan 2015-2020 in its wager on human capital as a fundamental lever for business success, has been created with the objective of strengthening OHL’s leadership and management capacity.
Thirty-five managers of the company, whose potential has been identified in the organization within a development plan, are going to have the opportunity of obtaining a global vision of the current environment, of living and working with the competencies of OHL, as well as sharing points of view with other managers who, together with the IESE teaching staff, will enable them to open up new perspectives for the future.
In his address, the CEO explained that the Lidera Development Program is a Group initiative that pursues the enhancement and development of the personal and career growth of the company’s employees, “because it is only through people and the work they perform with their teams that we can improve our results and our competitiveness”.
Tomás García Madrid noted that, despite the fact that “this is being a difficult year” for the company, “it is precisely now when we should focus on people and invest in their development”.
35 OHL Group managers are participating in the Lidera Development Program at the IESE, in Madrid.
