OHL, present in all the principal mining fairs in Latin America

OHL has been present in the principal mining fairs that held in Chile, Mexico and Colombia. In Chile, OHL has participated in the 15^th edition of Expomin, the largest mining fair in Latin America. This fair brings together the principal companies of this sector promoting the exchange of experiences and knowledge. The event took place between the 23^rd and 27^th of April in Santiago de Chile. Roberto Durán, the maximum authority of the company in this country and Patricio González, mining manager, were present in representation of the company.

In Mexico, the VI Seminar on Mining 2018, was held on April 25^th and 26^th in the State of Sonora. This encounter, organized by the Sonora Mining Association (AMSAC, its initials in Spanish), is one of the five most relevant mining events in America. María Victoria Tizón, OHL commercial manager in Peru and Andrés Rodriguez, from the corporate area of Sustainability, participated in representation of OHL. 

In Colombia, the company was present at the Colombian Mining Congress held on May 3^rd and 4^th in Cartagena. This mining encounter, organized by the Colombian Mining Association, is the most important in the country.  International and national mining companies participated in this meeting to display solutions and innovative products. Diego Mauricio Pérez, director of business development in Colombia, participated in representation of OHL.  

35 years of experience in the mining industry

OHL has over 35 years of experience in the mining industry. The company is presently executing different mining projects in Peru and Chile.  In Chile, it is carrying out the expansion of the Talabre reservoir; the maintenance of the conduction canal for pulp, tailings and industrial waters of the El Teniente mine; and the engineering projects for the Mantos Blancos Mine and the copper treatment plant in the División Ministro Hales.

In Peru, it is carrying out two important construction contracts in the mining sector4 with two of the main companies in the country, Compañía Minera Antamina and Minera Las Bambas; and a project in the Shahuindo mine (Rio Alto).
