OHL reaffirms its adherence to the #CEOforDiversity Alliance and its commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
May 18, 2021
It has been two years since the birth of the European initiative #CEOforDiversity, in which OHL has participated since its inception and which currently brings together 70 large Spanish companies from different sectors, represented by their presidents, CEOs and general managers. Among its main objectives is the implementation of a common strategy that contributes to business excellence, the competitiveness of talent and the reduction of inequality and exclusion in Spanish society. The Adecco and the CEOE Foundations are responsible for promoting this alliance in Spain.
Moreover, the #CEOforDiversity Alliance has developed the “Guide to accelerate the implementation of diversity strategies in the company” aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda and which aims to be a roadmap for the member companies of the Alliance. In addition to this, other initiatives will be developed throughout the year to address strategic issues such as inclusive communication, recruitment and leadership, the aging of the labor market, the inclusion of people with disabilities, women’s inequality and strategies for creating diversity-friendly brands.
OHL launches its 3rd Equality Plan aligned with the United Nations Global Compact
It should be noted that OHL’s commitment to diversity and equality translates into various policies and standards. Of particular note is the recent publication of OHL’s 3rd Equality Plan, which will run until 2025. Furthermore, the commitment to the integration of socially vulnerable groups – mainly people with different abilities, victims of gender violence or people at risk or in a situation of social exclusion – is another of the company’s priority lines of action.
The launch of OHL’s 3rd Equality Plan is aligned with the signing of the 3rd Equality Plan of OHL Servicios. The OHL subsidiary, which specializes in facilities management, has its own plan, adapted to the characteristics of its activity, in which a range of services with a high human component predominates, especially in the health and social care sector.
