OHL receives the Volunteer Award 2018 from the Integra Foundation

OHL has received recognition from the Integra Foundation with the Award for Corporate Volunteering 2018, which said institution awards annually to companies that have been outstanding in this area. The award ceremony was held on May 22nd in Madrid. The ceremony was presided by Ana Muñoz de Dios, general director of the Integra Foundation. Ignacio Cano, general HR director and María Ruspoli, CSR manager and responsible for accepting the award, were present in representation of OHL.
OHL has participated in the Escuela de Fortalecimiento volunteer program since 2015. It is aimed at providing the beneficiaries of the foundation with the tools that will permit them to successfully access the labor market. A total of 50 company employees have collaborated voluntarily imparting over 40 workshops benefiting over 200 persons belonging to groups with social exclusion risks.
Collaboration since 2002
OHL maintains a collaboration agreement with Fundación Integra since 2002 being a member of its patronage. The Group has supported diverse initiatives impulsed by the entity and has activated a specific plan for labor insertion of groups with disabilities or risk of exclusion. The principal groups benefited are gender violence victims; disabled persons; women who are victims of prostitution; ex-prisoners; victims of drug abuse; persons of over 45 and 60 years old and persons of the gypsy ethnic group, among others.
