OHL Servicios-Ingesan celebrates a solidarity day in Brenes (Seville)
June 18, 2019
Employees of OHL Servicios-Ingesan, in collaboration with the Empresa Social Lazal, participated in an inclusive conference organized in Brenes (Seville).
The activity took place in the La Fontana Residential Center for the Elderly, managed by OHL Servicios-Ingesan since 2014, and consisted of a workshop for the creation of Lazaditas, solidarity dolls made from recycled material, whose proceeds from the sale will go to the Association of Relatives of People with Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementia of Aljarafe, the Madrid Fragile X Syndrome Association (an association to support and raise awareness of the genetic disease, Fragile X Syndrome) and Padel Integra (an association for the integration of people with different abilities through sport), dedicated to the integration of people with different abilities.
The residents of the senior center, along with volunteers and users of the associations, organized themselves into a collaborative chain to create and assemble the different parts of the solidarity dolls. The activity, carried out in a context of awareness for the protection of the environment, has also helped older people to work on aspects such as coordination, memory, fine psychomotor skills, identity and self-esteem.
OHL Services-Ingesan has accumulated more than 15 years of commitment to the social and labor integration of groups at risk of social exclusion, which translates into collaboration with various social entities, including the Spanish Red Cross and the Adecco Foundation, among others.
