OHL Servicios-Ingesan, recognized as a Responsible Company for its commitment to the employment of disadvantaged groups
December 10, 2020
OHL Servicios-Ingesan has been awarded the certificate of Responsible Company, within the framework of the Labòra program promoted by the Barcelona City Council in cooperation with Catalan Organizations for Social Action (ECAS), the Catalan Federation of Labor Integration Companies (FEICAT) and the Red Cross. The award acknowledges the social commitment of the company to incorporate people belonging to vulnerable groups to its staff, providing them, through a job opportunity, the achievement of comprehensive social integration.
This is the fifth time that OHL Servicios-Ingesan has received this certificate, which has been awarded by the Barcelona City Council since 2015. The certificate is aimed at generating a continuous collaboration between the local body, social organizations and the business network in the city in order to facilitate together the labor integration of people who benefit from Social Services Centers (CSS) and other specialized services in the city, and who are unemployed and need assistance for their labor integration. The program is currently being developed in the metropolitan area of Barcelona.
Social and labor integration are one of OHL’s priority lines of action. It translates into the implementation of various awareness actions and corporate volunteering and in the promotion of direct employment. To achieve this, it cooperates with various organizations, including the Red Cross, Adecco Foundation, Integra Foundation, Randstad Foundation and Down Madrid. Thanks to this joint effort, OHL has hired more than 600 people in social exclusion or at risk of being in social exclusion over more than 15 years.
