OHL Servicios, OHL Group’s division specializing in facilities management, through its subsidiary OHL Servicios-Ingesan, has joined the ALLIANCES: A Social Challenge Employability Project for Enterprises, launched by the Spanish Red Cross in Huelva, where the company is the cleaning services concessionaire of all of the province’s hospitals, walk-in clinics and health centers. The initiative has been co-financed by the European Social Fund, through the Social Inclusion and Economy Operating Program (known by its Spanish acronym, POISES) of the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.

The project, articulated through the Employment Plan of the Spanish Red Cross, will enable OHL Servicios-Ingesan to take part in various charitable initiatives, to include a specialized course in hospital cleaning qualifications, with non-employment formative training supervised by OHL division staff, which will benefit vulnerable persons or at a risk of social exclusion, in order to achieve the necessary skills to apply for a job.

By starting up the ALLIANCES: A Social Challenge Employability Project for Enterprises, the Red Cross seeks to encourage collaboration between the business sector and underprivileged social groups, ensuring the recruitment and better employability of socially vulnerable persons.
