OHL Servicios obtains new contracts in Chile for approximately 25 million euros

OHL Servicios has been awarded in Chile various contracts for an approximate amount of 25 million euros.  It is composed of four projects which cover cleaning work and waste management in hospital buildings, urban cleaning and maintenance of green areas.

In Talca, municipality located in the Maule Region (VII Region), OHL Servicios will be responsible, from January 2019 and during the next six years, for the cleaning of streets and canals, and large size waste and debris management, for over 13.4 million euros.  The project will provide work for 164 persons and will benefit an approximately 240,000 inhabitants.

Astaldi, through its company Austral Mantención y Operaciones SpA, has awarded OHL Servicios a project which starts in January 2019 for a period of three years and includes the startup of a cleaning service and waste management and transportation service for its subsequent treatment, for the Félix Bulnes Clinical Hospital. The amount for this work totals over 7.1 million euros and the company will employ over 200 people.

In Coronel, it has obtained a contract, for a period of four years, which includes various actions directed towards the maintenance of green and public areas, specifically in the tree pruning, weeding, rainwater system sanitation, as well as cleaning of the cities beaches.  The amount for this work totals over 3.1 million euros. The city has over 116,200 inhabitants.

Also, in the city of Concepción, OHL Servicios has obtained a contract to carry out the cleaning and maintenance services of the municipal offices and spaces. These services, which start in May 2018, are for a period of 29 months and the budget of which is close to 650,000 euros will benefit approximately 224,000 persons.

These awards are in addition to others in the scope of Services such as cleaning in CRS Hospital Provincia Cordillera, Hospital CRS Peñalolen, various city halls and office buildings, as well as the parking facilities at the Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport.  Also worth highlighting is the maintenance service of the Climate Control infrastructures and installations in the Las Condes Clinic in Santiago, one of the most important in the country.
