OHL takes part in the second RC Outlook project of Fundación Entorno, a joint communications initiative

Fundación Entorno has released the second RC Project Communication, Outlook 2011, in which OHL participates in a group of 12 major companies committed to sustainable development.

This second communication of this project is a forum titled Integration of CSR and integrity which will include a presentation by the General Director of Legal Services of the OHL Group, José María del Cuvillo entitled Values Management, Ensuring Strength and Competitiveness.

José María del Cuvillo will highlight the relevance of “values” as a basic element for the creation of value in a company and emphasize that “the empowerment of the values of prudence, transparency and honesty, among others, has been one the critical success factors of OHL and one of the Group’s most useful tools for the prevention of risks. For this reason, as global group present in over 30 countries on five continents, we strive every day to assure that all Group employees share and work under the same references and the same guidelines for ethical conduct. This is fully reflected in our ethical system, specifically, the company’s group-wide Code of Ethics. “

The General Director of Legal Services also highlighted the decision of the OHL Board of Directors to delegate the functions and monitoring of CSR policy to the Audit, Compliance and CSR Committee, declaring that “this move reinforced the strategic aspect of CSR and thereby protected the solvency of our commitment to values.”
