Carlos de Hoyos, HR manager of Ingesan, recognized by Fundación Integra for his commitment to the labor integration of people at risk of social exclusion.

OHLA has been committed for more than 20 years to the labor integration of groups in a situation or at risk of social exclusion, a commitment that translates into nearly 900 new hires, mainly through its subsidiary Ingesan, the leading company in the Services activity. The company currently has collaboration agreements in Spain with entities such as the Adecco Foundation, Prodis, Randstad, Aldeas Infantiles, Inspiring Girls and Down Madrid, among others.

Among the actions undertaken to promote job placement, it is worth mentioning the agreement signed between OHLA and Fundación Integra since 2022. Precisely, this Foundation has awarded a Special Mention to Carlos de Hoyos, HR manager of Ingesan, for his work in labor integration of people at risk of social exclusion and with disabilities, as well as for his special involvement with the candidates. OHLA’s work has also been recognized by the same organization with the Commitment 2022 Award and the Socially Committed Company 2021 award.

In addition, this year, the company has joined the Integra Tech digital HUB initiative, which is committed to training in digital skills for people at risk of social exclusion.

Positive impact on society

Throughout the last fiscal year, OHLA has received several awards from entities such as the Red Cross and the Intermedia Foundation for the hiring of vulnerable groups, in addition to the implementation of various awareness and corporate volunteering actions and the promotion of direct employment. In coordination with the Randstad Foundation, an environmental and inclusive volunteer day was held in Madrid with the families of employees and people with disabilities, with the aim of promoting environmental care and responsible consumption.

On the other hand, OHLA has held for the second consecutive year and in collaboration with Fundación Adecco, the Olympics for Inclusion in favor of the development of basic skills through sports. Thanks to this initiative, the development of social skills, the improvement of self-esteem, concentration and coordination of people with disabilities is promoted, thus favoring social and labor inclusion.
