June 1, 2023

ABAMA BELLEVUE PHASE I AND PHASE II. TENERIFE. CANARY ISLANDS. SPAIN.

The first edition of the Real Estate and Construction Forum in the Canary Islands was held in Tenerife under the slogan New trends in the sale of luxury homes and the transformation of the construction sector. The initiative, promoted by the developer Arum and Abama Luxury Residences, brings together clients and investors with the aim of becoming an essential event for the real estate sector in the Canary Islands. This year’s edition also includes the participation of OHLA.

The company, represented by Miguel Ángel Amérigo, corporate head of R&D and Innovation, took part in one of the round tables to discuss the current context of the real estate and construction market in the Canary Islands, the application of innovation and the challenges it faces.

OHLA participates in the development and construction of projects of diverse nature in the Canary Islands. In the field of construction, it is currently carrying out the unique project for the construction of 32 apartments in Abama Jardines Residencial. This initiative is part of the company’s portfolio of residential projects which, translated into numbers, exceeds the construction of more than 8 million square meters and more than 60,000 homes, distributed in countries such as Spain, the USA, the Czech Republic and Ireland, to cite several examples.

In addition, the company carries out private and public-private partnership projects, as well as residential complexes of a unique nature and equipped with the latest technological advances. One of the most unique projects undertaken was the construction of Four Seasons Private Residences, 22 homes located in Centro Canalejas Madrid, equipped with the latest home automation technologies and the Four Seasons services offered by the chain’s hotel, located on the central floors of the complex.

Innovation and sustainability at the service of well-being

Innovation and sustainability go hand in hand in the field of residential construction. Domotic systems that allow the management of different energy sources, optimizing their use and reducing their consumption or the implementation of devices that, acting passively, capture solar energy are common practices in this type of projects. In this regard, it is worth noting the incorporation of measures that meet the Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (nZEB) criterion. And in construction or rehabilitation works OHLA uses cutting-edge methodologies that guarantee the optimization of execution times and excellence in results, such as BIM (Building Information Modeling) and the MES (Monitoring of Singular Structures) platform.
