Florida
OHLA USA is advancing three major projects in Florida, two of which utilize the Progressive Design-Build model to enhance collaboration and streamline delivery.
- In Broward County, OHLA USA and Prince Contracting, LLC are partnering with the Florida Department of Transportation on the planning and design of the I-95 and SW 10th Street Connectivity Improvements. Valued at approximately $933 million, this project includes new interchanges, flyover ramps, and a reimagined SW 10th Street corridor to improve traffic flow, safety, and emergency response routes.
- At the Port of Miami, OHLA USA is set to begin pre-development work on the North Bulkhead Realignment, reconstructing a 7,200-foot seawall. Working closely with its client, Miami-Dade County, the project, with an estimated design and construction value of $429 million, will ensure long-term operational resilience and growth for one of the busiest ports in the United States.
- In Palm Beach County, the company is preparing to launch a $235.8 million construction effort to widen a seven-mile section of the mainline turnpike (S.R. 91) from four to eight lanes. The project includes new toll lanes, four bridge replacements, interchange upgrades, and key support structures to enhance traffic operations.
Illinois
Subsidiary Judlau Contracting is leading an $82.8 million project to reconstruct four miles of Route 53 and replace four bridges for the Illinois Department of Transportation. The multi-phase effort will also modernize traffic signals, lighting, and drainage systems to improve safety and reliability.
Massachusetts
Judlau Contracting is also delivering a $92.1 million contract to upgrade Ruggles Station, one of Boston’s busiest transit hubs. In partnership with the MBTA, the project will modernize station infrastructure, enhance safety, and improve the commuter experience across subway, commuter rail, and bus lines.
California
In San Diego, OHLA USA will execute the Morena Pipeline project for the City of San Diego—a $63.1 million effort to improve water distribution and transmission. The project involves replacing over 32,000 linear feet of piping, updating sewer and water mains, and adding bicycle-friendly enhancements along Morena Boulevard, complete with traffic signals for increased safety.
A Track Record of Impact, A Vision for the Future
