Construction in the port of Granadilla, in the South of the island of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Canary Islands) of a seal wall, formed by the following:

  • Sea wall with a total length of 2,286 m formed by 3 alignments. A first alignment of 712 m, consisting of 596 m mound breakwater (North Dike) and 116 m vertical breakwater formed by 2 reinforced concrete anti-reflective caissons. A second alignment of 700 m length consisting of 12 anti-reflective caissons and a third alignment of 874 m length consisting of 15 caissons without anti-reflective cells. The dike is crowned with a wall at a at a height of +10 on the mound breakwater section and at a height of +11 on the vertical breakwater section. The anchorage heights of the caissons vary between -16 and -24.
  • At the outer end of the dike, there is a 130 m long jog made up of 3 caissons.
  • 5 m of dock (on the shore), at -16.00 and with a ro-ro ramp was built on the inner area. It is equipped with 5 caissons 33 m long.
